Cafe Build

If you have a keen eye you might have noticed some building work going on at The Woods Cyclery, well, we are officially building a Coffee shop! Its been on the cards for a while, and we feel its a natural progression from what we have built so far.

We are essentially extending on our coffee and ‘cinnamon bun ride’ Sundays, when the covid situation allows we will be offering more regular shop rides with a variety of route length options, and offering a meeting spot for any other locals groups and clubs own group rides.

We wanted a space that served as a spot for cyclists to fuel up, before or after the ride, route plan and scheme the next big trip.

The New forest is officially on the map as a great Gravel riding and Bikepacking/ touring destination, so we wanted to offer a hub for the community, we feel the shop has always had this to some extent, but without the space thats needed for people to hang out.

We will be serving @Badhandcoffee, and a small selection of quality food.

@umberworks have been working on the installation, and doing a mighty fine job of it.

.We will be looking for an experienced barista, who has the skills to not only make the best coffee in the south, but to manage the coffeeshop, we are far too busy building and fixing beautiful bikes to do it on our own!
