The Woods Cafe is Open!

The cafe doors are finally open, its been a long time coming.

We started offering pour over coffee and Cinnamon buns on our Sunday shop rides, from that point we always aspired to opening a proper cycle cafe. Space was our only issue, when next door came available, we saw an opportunity to move our cycle hire operation out of the main shop, suddenly a space was available that was perfect to use as a coffee shop.

Umberworks fitted the cafe out in beautiful Birch plywood, all designed on CAD to minimise waste material and time in install, its a super efficient, clever way to build, we’d recommend looking them up for installations.

Our aim is to be a cycling hub for the New forest, somewhere to meet cyclists, plan routes and scheme future trips, while re-fueling on quality coffee and snacks.

Badhand coffee, our suppler, are based in Bournemouth, they roast coffee in an old fire station unit, ethically, from green importers who trade directly with farms and pay them a fair price. We also stock a range of beans in store for home or outdoor brewing, and the kit you need to brew on a ride.
