A Cambrian Mountain Bothy adventure

Tom Hutton from @mtbguiding planned the route for us, but unfortunately couldn’t ride due to a back injury, but he did meet us at the start to talk us through the route and offer us a selection of gourmet bikepacking produce to take with us!
What an awesome part of the world, very few humans, lots of sheep.
The trail is mostly gravel, but with some fun bits of rocky trail thrown in to keep you on your toes.. And the best Bothy I’ve ever stayed in.. firewood, fire lighters, running water, and even a sink!
