Rob Lee’s Passhunter, Out and about, and some kind words..
Rob Lee got out and about on his Velo Orange for a 200 mile weekend literally straight from picking it up from us, the bikes a beauty, comfort, speed and style in one.
He sent us these nice words….
“I have been a customer with the woods for about a year now and in that time they have helped out massively with two bikes projects of mine. The first was a rather amazing Brothers R725 fixed gear, Jon built the wheels for that project around some rather awesome Royce hubs and H+Plus Sons rims. They have not missed a beat and even after a couple of thousand miles they are still as true as when I first got them.
Of course I need the equal opposite to compliment that bike and ender up with the help of Tom designing a Randonneur style bike around Velo Orange Pass Hunter frame. We took a few educated risks such as a 650b wheel conversion (again built by Jon) of course fitted with Compass ExtraLights. This time around I got the guys to build the bike up for me. The turn around was super quick and the service was great as always! I took the bike immediately to Cornwall for a 200 mile ride to iron out any creases. Needless to say it performed without a hitch and since have put in another few hundred miles on and off road over the last 3 weeks and still not a hiccup.
It’s not just the fact the guys are knowledgeable, run a great shop, and build awesome bikes, they are also great people whom I have become good friends with.”
