Route planning for Brother in The Wild 2019
Will, Dan, Oscar, Jacob and I had an epic time planning Brother In The Wild 2019 routes!
Having ridden the area loads over the years, I had a pretty good idea of a route that would be challenging, scenic and with wild swim spots and pubs a plenty!
The route is pretty rough in places, making it do able on a gravel bike, but more fun on a standard mtb or a ‘Big Bro’ esc adventure bike!
We found a perfect campsite, with a natural amphitheatre set up, located right next to awesome trails.
Will and Dan took their kepler’s, and they ate up the rough terrain, these bikes are capable of anything! Although I think Will’s wrists told him he should have brought his Big Bro!
Oscar used the ride as a shakedown for his new Sven ‘Hell Finder’ 29 plus dirt tourer, this thing is next level! Rohloff 14 speed hub and Jones bars. The bike worked perfectly on the rough, long ride. Oscar will be taking on the Great Divide very soon!
Cant wait for the event! its gonna be epic!
