The ultimate tire for bikepacking and speedy gravel adventures! At 55 mm wide, the Antelope Hill is our largest tire yet. We name our tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that have inspired them: Antelope Hill is the last great climb on the 360-mile Oregon Outback mixed-surface ride/race. Oregon’s gravel is quite loose in places, and the extra floatation of the Antelope Hill tires gives you more speed and security when the going gets really rough.

Antelope Hill itself is a beautiful paved climb (photo), so we designed this tire to roll as fast and grip as well as a good racing tire. With this tire, you truly have the best of both worlds.

Antelope Hill:

Compass tires combine the performance of high-end tubular tires with the convenience of clinchers and the width needed for allroad riding. Our supple casings roll smoothly over surface irregularities. They absorb less energy as they deform with each tire revolution. Compass tires make your bike feel alive. From the first meters, you will notice the difference.

Compass tires are well-suited for everyday use. The tread pattern interlocks with the road surface for superb cornering grip, whether your roads are wet or dry. The tread is 3 mm thick in the center to last many miles, but thin and supple on the shoulders where it doesn’t wear. Choose the widest tires your bike can fit for more speed on rough roads, better cornering grip, more comfort and fewer flats. (Wide tires roll over debris that gets hammered into narrower tires.)

Available with Standard and Extralight casings. The Standard casings are an affordable option that also offers extra protection against sidewall cuts on sharp rocks. The Extralight casings take the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level. Once you have a set of Compass tires, you won’t be able to go back to “normal” tires!
