The ultimate 650B dual-purpose tire is designed for adventures where you don’t know what lies ahead. It offers excellent performance and cornering on paved roads, yet its knobs dig into the surface when it gets slippery. The tread pattern is designed to increase the amount of rubber in contact with the road as you lean the bike into turns to maximise grip.

We name our tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that have inspired them: Juniper Ridge is a rough trail on the Dark Divide in the centre of the Cascade Mountains. To reach this remote destination, this tire combines ample width with ultra-fast casings and our unique tread pattern.

All Rene Herse tires combine the performance of high-end tubular tires with the convenience of clinchers and the width for all-road riding. The Standard casing is a more affordable option that also offers extra protection against sidewall cuts on sharp rocks. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level.

The Juniper Ridge is tubeless-compatible. When used with tubes, we recommend the SV13 or SV14A tubes.

Rene Herse tires are well-suited for everyday use. Choose the widest tires your bike can fit for more speed on rough roads, better cornering grip, more comfort and fewer flats. (Wide tires roll over debris that gets hammered into narrower tires.)

Available with Standard and Extralight casings. The Standard casings are an affordable option that also offers extra protection against sidewall cuts on sharp rocks. The Extralight casings take the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level. Once you have a set of Rene Herse tires, you won’t be able to go back to “normal” tires!

Rene Herse tires combine the performance of high-end tubular tires with the convenience of clincher. The supple casings roll smoothly over surface irregularities. The knobs are large enough so they don't squirm, yet they are spaced far enough to clear mud. All models feature:
